Has anyone see the Benjamin Button movie?
#1
My daughter and I are planning on seeing it tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone had seen it and if you liked it or not. No spoilers please, if there can be spoilers, since everyone knows the premise from the ads.

just looked it up on IMDB and it's getting an 8.7 rating - that's superb!

It is a bit long. I felt it was like watching Forrest Gump in reverse. My wife liked it. I give it a 4 out of 5.

eat some popcorn for me. The pain meds constipate me, and I need all the help I can get.

Don't talk during the movie.

Sounds like it will be worth going to see.

I'll try to keep quiet during the movie.

Racer, I never buy popcorn at the movies, too expensive. Sounds like a box of prunes is in order for you.

I really liked it. Good old Hollywood storytelling (screenplay by the same guy who wrote Forrest Gump who also just lost his fortune due to the Madoff ponzi scheme).

I went to bed thinking about it and woke up thinking about its message.

Here is a quote from my 14 year old son, "It was slow in parts, but the ending and the moral to the story sure punch you in the face!"

I would see it again and buy it.

Saw it on Christmas Day

It is long, almost 3 hours. Too long in my opinion. It is a Forest Gump/Little Big Man kind of movie. I liked it but I wouldn't sit through it again. I give it 3 1/2 stars out of 5.

I saw it last night. The GF and I both thought it was too long and got slow at points. She thought it was a bit of a downer. I thought it had some good moments and was ok but didn't see it as being as good as some of the reviews I've seen. ("movie of the decade", IMHO, I think not). I thought Brad Pitt was very good in it. Might not be all that suitable for young kids.
