Product Review: Miracle Berry Tablets Make Grapefruit Taste Like Sweet Candy

'Picked up some Miracle Berry tablets from ThinkGeek awhile ago with a coupon.

I'd read about them a few times, but hadn't tried them.

I was initially a little disappointed that the tablets seem stale, but the stuff really works!

One half a tablet dissolved on my tongue made Grapefruit taste like a grapefruity strawberry hard-candy.

Oranges provided a taste-sensation not unlike congealed corn syrup.

Very cool and trippy!

I'm going to have to try this with hot peppers and Tabasco!

Because some of us think grapefruit tastes gross? And, yes, I've tasted grapefruit fresh off the tree in Florida - the stuff grapefruit lovers thought was prime. Blech.
