What could be more fun than Apple Store in Waikiki? LOST PREMIERE maybe?
#1
SORRY, no SPOILERS from me... ;-)

I am in Waikiki for a few days on vacation. Hiked up to Diamond Head from the hotels today (Saturday). On the way back, I walked around the far side of Diamond Head the Long way around. Quite a hike, great weather and fun.

When reaching back to the Waikiki beach area, they were having a special ABC event. I was back shortly after 5pm, just in time to watch several of the LOST Stars pull up in separate limos (Jin, Ben, Miles, Lopedus (sp?), Sun, some gal I did not recognize, Michael, Lock, Richard, Hurley, Kate, Jack, Sawyer, writers and producers).

At 6:30 pm, they introduced the actors and had a few things to say. Then on a big screen, they played the first hour of the Season Premiere (is the season premier 2 hours?).

It was GOOD! <-- Is that a spoiler? ;-)

No pics?! Useless!

You didn't mention anything about my previous posting on the Lost tour at Kualoa ranch.

The two hour Hummer tour on the ranch was more than enough. No need to go for the all day tour unless you are a huge fan of the show. The incredibly knowledgeable tour guides will know EVERYTHING going on Lost related.

5 people + the guide in the Hummer. Unless there are small kids in your family. THen maybe 6. If you're the only one interested, they'll hook you up with another small group or couple while your fam does their thing on the beach. If it's all booked, it actually might be better to show up by yourself . Singles are much easier to squeeze into an already booked Hummer, rather than a family.

Do not go inside while in Hawaii. You can do that at home.

Now I REALLY hate you! I love LOST and am eagerly anticipating Tuesday's kick off, which you got to see some of already, and you got to see the stars, and in Hawaii, yeah, I am really envious now. BTW, it is about 30 degrees here this morning, don't you just wish it was that cold in Hawaii? I know you do.

Seriously though, I'm glad at least someone is warm and dry and having a great vacation.

It does get that cold in Hawaii. You just have to go to the top of Mauna Kea. Top of Haleakela gets almost into the 30s too.

At least the sun's out where I am. Cold, but pretty day.

p.s. We didn't get to Oahu when we were in Hawaii over Christmas. My kids were really bummed when I told them Lost was filmed on Oahu, but we weren't going there.
