Be aware that it's only recommended for those age 60 and over. If you qualify, you should get it. If your insurance does not pay for it, save up the money to pay for it yourself. Shingles can be very painful. Anyone who has had it will tell you this.
Freeradical, what state are you in? It's nice to see that a grocery store was providing it. There has been a nationwide manufacturer backorder for several months now. My office has not had any since November. Hopefully we'll get some more in stock soon.

I was vaccinated last year - my husband had shingles about 7 years ago, and no way do I want to go through that.
Insurance paid 100%.

I had chicken pox as a kid, and in my late 20s I had shingles. yeah, it was painful, I could not bear a shirt on my back.
