Oh the great cat debate! I hate to say it but it's a debate one can never win. It always seems that people are firmly on one side or the other - very rarely in the middle.
I'm gonna stay out of this (mostly) because I don't feel like watching a train wreck on Easter but I will say this - I have quite a few friends who are cat lovers and have multiple cats. Most started out as cat owners who let their pets roam. ALL of my friends have since converted to keeping their cats indoors. And yes, they converted outdoor cats to indoor ones. Why did they suddenly become indoor cat people? One did so after they spent 3 months nursing their "baby" back to health after he got really sick from something he got into outside. Others started keeping theirs in either due to coyotes & owls or because they lost cats to cars, animals or disease.

I was dogsitting in the hills near Encino, and went out one morning to grab the paper from the end of the driveway. When I got there, a skinny dog trotted by, right down the middle of the street. It saw me, but didn't give me much attention...just kept trotting by on its skinny legs. I said something like "Hello, doggie."
"Doggie" looked at me and said, "I'm not a dog; I'm a coyote, stupid." Ah. Right. Clearly, you are. Won't make that mistake again. Trot, trot, trot...

Not sure. But after some Googling, I've now seen a South Park video about gay fish.
