Valentine just arrived. Post marked 2/10
#1
Funny I mentioned here about testing our postal service with postcards sent daily.

Just got the mail and a Valentine card with Federal Reserve Note in it (aka CASH), postmarked 2/10 just arrived. The other two had arrived on 2/11.

And its replacement already came. So, am I obliged to pass the cash onto my one kid?

I've had 2 or 3 orders from China since then that have already arrived quicker, too! Smile

I had a card from my Mother In Law who lives about 3 miles away that took 14 days to get to my house.

I got you all beat...

I mail a newsletter every month.
Several copies go from the Bulk Mail window at the back of the post office, to the post office boxes in the front of the post office. Maybe 20 YARDS.

One copy took two months to get from the back of the PO to the front.

(to their credit, that was a rare event.. most of our bulk-mailed newsletters get places in a timely fashion. Except to Oregon for some reason.... those take twice as long as copies to anywhere else...).

Does anyone else feel/sense that sometimes they hold some Friday mail over to be able to deliver Saturday early and quickly to get off work sooner?
