#11
Hey, congrats to you and your daughter! That looks like a really nice place to stay, if you don't mind lizards. :-)

Congrats! Looks like a lovely place for a wedding. Just curious how they chose Vieques as a place to get married.

Vieques is one of my favorite places in the world. I've been about a dozen times.

I'm so glad you had a good experience there.

Were you near Isabel Segunda? I'm not familiar with the particular place where you were staying - looks kind of like Hix Island House, but the architecture is different than I remember.

I believe the same architect built the Villa Venti (they have a web site) who did the Hix Island House.Villa Venti is more to the center of the island, up some god-awful roads. It is actually the caterer's residence. He cleared out and let the whole place to my daughter and husband.

I was in Esperanza, myself, on the southern part of the island.

They picked Vieques because they visited there and liked the place. They wanted to do something different.

I stay at Trade Winds a lot. Good people there.

We spent half of our honeymoon on Vieques (almost four years ago), and fell in love with it as well. We plan to go back for our anniversary next year.

If Vieques has the worst roads you have seen, I have to assume that you have never been to Mississippi.
