Best way to get Titanium PowerBook to be usable abroad?
#1
By that I mean: do you know of some sort of 'universal' power adapter for an older unit like that, or is there a small universal power 'thingy' that the existing AC adapter could be plugged into, that would bridge to the various elec. options abroad??

Thanks!

All Macs will work on European voltage - all you need is a plug adapter.

Could you point me to an example of what you mean by a "plug adapter"? I know I've seen such things, but am not sure what I should be looking for if I'm actually gonna buy one...

Thanks!

For Europe, you need the one where the pins are round. Easiest way is to buy a set of plug adapters like this:

They are sold over there, too, in airports, train stations, convenience stores near attractions and such. Handy for us, as we lost the one we brought with us (left it plugged in to an outlet on a train). Rolleyes
