How long can you keep steamed blue crabs in the fridge?

If I had three steamed crabs left over from this past Saturday, would they still be safe to eat? Enquiring minds want to know!

Probably, but nowhere near as good as when they first went into the fridge. Smell 'em. If they don't smell strong, decide. If they do, chuck 'em.

Blue claws are some of the best food on earth. The other's soft shells!

Well, it depends how angry they are. Just a bit steamed, they'll probably estivate, and should survive for weeks. Very steamed, they will eat all your lettuce and try to claw through the door.

Probably won't kill you, but they won't taste very good -I find that crab in the shell after 2 days isn't much worth eating.

If they were sufficiently steamed they should be.
If theywren't wrapped up well they may be getting dried out.

I do know one absolutely can not keep blue crabs under the piano for days.

If you can't get your nose close to 'em, they're done...
