Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Spaces?

entering my third month with my 21.5 iMac with Snow and my favorite thing is Spaces. I have a number of projects working and it's just so nice to be able to pop in and out of work areas that are uncluttered by unrelated stuff. it's like visiting other rooms. right now i'm taking a break and visiting my email and macresource room.

part and parcel to having Spaces is also having 4GB of RAM so i can keep different programs open in all those spaces. love that too!

jdc - 2 screens are much better for some work, but take up a lot of desk real estate. The majority of work is easily done with Spaces.

Whenever I have a particularly important shiny and new word processing document, I always place it diagonally across two Spaces. Sometimes important documents justify the extra buffer zone.

Yeah some of my older TextEdit documents and run-of-the-mill downloaded PDF documents make some disparaging comments, but it is worth it to not have a lowly e-mail message window reach out as a vandal just after it accessed the Keychain.
