Another question(s) on the older MBA

1. Does it have a lighted KB? Searching on the web, I don't see it mentioned but one of the Amazon hits (review, I think) shows:

2. Would spending the extra $250 for the refurb with a 128GB SSD increase battery life significantly?

1. Yes, the old ones do.
2. No, it'll increase performance but the battery life is about the same.

Wouldn't the glow from the screen be sufficient to see the letters on the keyboard?

No. Not unless you crank the screen brightness up, which is often worse on the eyes in dark settings. I have a 17" MBP and black keys with light lettering aren't particularly visible in the dark when accompanied by a properly dimmed screen.
