They installed the window glass at the Staples they're building 3 blocks from my house . . . passing it each morning on my 10-block, all side-street commute will be like one of those dreams where you're in a familar place but everything's different.
So much for spending less money due to living in the ghetto . . .

I got a stack and used the $5.00 coupon. They had them hidden
up on rack almost out of reach. All they had on the shelf was the older slower speed packages and they weren't even tagged on sale. There was none of the Battery Backups to be found so I had them order 2 and they voluntarily gave me another $3 off for not having them. The Sony DVD-RW's weren't marked on sale either 25 for $12.98 regular $35.00. Our Staples has really gone downhill lately. CMC = CMC Magnetics, pretty crappy media according to the cdfreaks forum; though I have bought these too and had no problems.

Also got 200gig hd + 16X dual layer dvd burner for $60AR + tax on $150 after using $20 off $150 coupon (coupon was emailed to staples rewards members)

FYI
The $5 coupon DOES NOT work on-line (it says item isn't in cart. a thread seems to indicate that the $5 coupon is really only for the cd-r and the dvd-r is a misprint. Might work instore (though my local store won't let me use it with the instant savings). |
