Discretion the better part of valor re: chilled iMac?
#1
Given that my new-to-me refurb iMac has been sitting in a frozen FedEx truck for the last 8 hours or so, should I let it come back to room temperature before unpacking it and firing it up?

I'd plug it in and leave it for several hours before powering up.

Don't even plug it in. Unbox it. Leave it alone overnight.

I'd take it out of the box and let it warm up. I'd wait to plug it in.

Anticipation is making me wait...that's gotta hurt.

When my macmini came last week the Fed Ex guy was dressed to the max, including a face mask. Must've been no heat in the truck.
I took the macmini out of the box, it felt like ice cubes. I didn't plug it in until the next morning.

Grit your teeth and wait, Like doc and rgG say.
