are there any programs that monitor what sites every computer on a network visits?
my old netgear router logged and would send an email once a day with the log. it also sent an immediate email if a blocked site visit was attempted. this was an easy way for me to monitor my son's computer usage.
comcast seems to have gone to requiring authentication for email (Apple Mail needs this also) and the netgear software's email notification feature doesn't work with ISP's requiring authentication.
i can manually check the log but i'd prefer to have something emailed to me. are there any apps that do that?
any chance i could have comcast not require authentication for my account?
