How to delete cookies on Windows IE
#1
I have customers who don't know a thing about computers who occasionally need to clear their cookies in order for my site to work correctly for them.

Having never used a PC in my life, could someone explain the steps to 1. deleting the cookies in IE, and 2. clearing the cache in IE. I promise to copy the exact instructions so that I can email these poor AOL'ish type customers the directions.

thanks.

1. Click the "Tools" menu bar.

2. Choose "Internet Options".

3. On the "General" tab in the "Temporary Internet Files" section, click "Delete Files"
This will delete all the files in your cache.

4. Click "OK"
I like to delete all offline files as well.

5. On the "General" tab, click "Clear History".
This will clear all the history items in your browser.

6. When it asks "Delete all items in your History folder?", click "OK".

7. On the "General" tab, click "Delete Cookies".

8. Click "OK" to exit the properties window.
