I won't be in town till Saturday. But stop by the Tropical Isle (600 Bourbon) the Bayou Club (610 Bourbon), Tropical Isle (721 Bourbon) and the Funky Pirate (727 Bourbon) and check out my audio and lighting designs/installations. Head up to the 2nd floor at 721 Bourbon (Top of the Trop) for another one of my stage systems - plus they have an open balcony there.

There is a webcam on Bourbon Street. (check out the LiveCam iPhone app). Let us know when you are standing in front of it so we can see you!

Tropical Isle, 600 Bourbon St.
Webcam - http://www.tropicalisle.com/webcam.html

There are several webcams in the area, this is the first one that seemed to work well without a lot of ads. Hand Grenade!

Just remember, not everyone dressed as a woman is. A group of us spent a few hours at Razzu's (or however you spell it) one night watching guys hit on a TS that was passable with the exception of large hands and a very prominent adam's apple.

Another 6 weeks or so, and I'll be in town. I'm jonesing for NOLA. Bad.

But back to your situation: Pat O's is a must (the second Hurricane is the one that gets you), and maybe the Old Absinthe House. Other than that, Bourbon is a tourist trap, so get off the beaten path ASAP.

Okay, some BBQ Oysters and French bread at Redfish Grill would be permissible...

My wife and I were there this weekend. We had a great time. I introduced her to Pat O's Hurricanes on Friday night and then I had a couple Hand Grenades on Saturday night. I stopped in to see Rain, but he wasn't playing.

Still missing the beignets from Cafe du Monde. We ate breakfast at Stanley 3 mornings in a row. Yum! The Po-Boys at ACME were worth the wait to get in. Fortunately, my wife loved the city, so we'll be back when it's a bit warmer.
