Ice cream half gallons went to 56 oz, now some are 48 oz.
What was it, 20 years ago or so a pound of coffee shrunk to 13oz. In the consumer's mind, it's helping to hold a better price point. Dave

It's the Giant Economy Size. This model has been going on for years. Bought a can of coffee later ? Used to be 5 lbs. It's like, what,, 3 lbs now ?

My Folgers is now 1 lb 11.8 ounces. I think Costco still has larger sizes.

Major brands of OJ just went through a down-sizing instead of price-increase too. 59 oz instead of 64 oz in the cartons. They did a pretty good job of camouflaging the change, the cartons are almost indistinguishable from the old ones. Similar size changes showed up in other sizes too.

My wife just handed me a Kleenex and they're square now, not a rectangle like they used to be. They've cut
at least an 1" off the end, box looks to be the same size.
