Storming the cockpit or trying to find the lavatory? It all depends how you look at it.

My favorite line from the story is:

"He might have seriously mistaken the cockpit for the bathroom,"

I am not an expert on Islamic bathroom customs, but is common to yell "Allahu Akbar" and pound on the door when you really have to take a leak?

Our "war on terror" is only on page on of the first chapter. OBL floating with the fishes is the equivalent to about two letters of a sentence on that first page.

""He might have seriously mistaken the cockpit for the bathroom," Almoraissi said. "He's only been on three planes in his whole life." Al-Murisi was taking classes in California to learn English but was not happy with his progress, his cousin said"

"Nobody understood me ! I was saying "Like, Dude, I gotta piss totally bad, man !" "

Are you sure he wasn't yelling "Admiral Akbar" and thought it was some kind of Star Wars themed flight?

I guess there are various reasons to try to diminish the Obama administration's victory in regard to OBL. Pakistan wants to make it look like he just wasn't important enough for them to bother tracking within their borders. Not hard to fathom what your motivation may be.

The death of Bin Laden united the country again. We are now all on board in willing to send armed troops into foreign countries without their consent to nab terrorists. In the olden days this sort of behavior was reserved for mad cowboys with utter disregard for international norms. I am happy.

Apples to Kumquats. Had OBL taken up residence in a palace in some random country that was willing to protect him, and sent a daily broadcast gloating over the success of the 9/11 attack and how the US can't touch him, I don't think there would have been much protest from the left over a "surgical" strike into a 'sovereign nation.'
Think back like 8 or 9 years . . . do you remember that part about Saddam H. and Irag not being behind the 9/11 attack?

I am not arguing with you. I welcome you to the fold. We are together again. You are onboard with the policy of no sanctuary for terrorists wherever they may be and that we need not secure international consent to go and get him by military force if the president chooses to. Now, can I interest you in you are either with us or against us?
