Make sure you update your copy of Graphic Converter

I was having a problem where I would do a slide show from a folder, and only a few of the pictures would play.

I wrote an email to the developer, and this is what he said:

Hello,

I released a new beta.
Please check:

Regards
Thorsten Lemke
(important note: please always include this complete email in your reply)

I'm not sure why he's calling this beta software, but it fixed the problem.

Not to hijack the thread, but how do you like ver. 7? I'm still using ver 6, mostly because of less than stellar early reviews. Is it stable and worth upgrading?

Is V7 a paid upgrade?

I, too, noticed the same bug you're experiencing. I got GC v6 from a MacUpdate bundle several years ago, but am not sure I want to pay for it again.

What version should I have on a non-Intel Mac?

I just used system profiler, and it says that it's a universal binary.

It's stable, but it does have occasional bugs like the above.

I've switched to v.7 more or less permanently, although there are a couple of things for which I keep v.6 around; I forget exactly what, but I remember a missing function that I needed to use v.6 for. V.7 handles layers better, and has a more updated feel. I'm glad I made the switch.

OK, thanks. I've been using it since version 2 or 3 or something like that and while I have no objection to this paid upgrade, the initial comments weren't very good. Ver 6 still does everything I ask of it and if it doesn't I have PS CS5 for heavy lifting.
