Regarding a return to Apple, I don't know what he'd really do for them anyway. His interests and their's likely don't mesh. He's always been far less "corporate" and more independently-minded, no?

He otherwise is in need of medication that will restore the neurotransmitter responsible for

According to Ray Kurzweil the singularity is just around the corner, under 20 years. He has a good record making accurate predictions. Even if he is wrong I think machines will be smarter than humans in 100 years at the latest. It is only a matter of time. It is just hard to grasp and hard to believe because people are more comfortable thinking linearly rather than exponentially.
