My work monitor is a #2407WFp and it's been discontinued (probably for a while). Does Dell ever restock these things as refurbs? I prefer the deeper screen, and the resolution is nice, too.

I believe that's a 2007 model so it's getting pretty old to have a supply of.

I've seen 2408s now and then in refurbs.

I went for the 2408 myself. It's just the newer version of the 2407. Got mine on eBay and it was new.

I have 2407s at work and bought 2408s for myself at home. I'd go for the 2408s since color was reported better (appears so to me). The compact flash card slot is the same but the second card slot is different.

I've got 2408's at work. The other slot is for SD cards, which is nice.
