Any recent deal on a B & W laser Brother AIO?

Our Brother HL-2270DW is less than 6 months old. We are very happy with it. Due a recent influx of scanning, conversions and printings of text PDFs, we now are looking for a decent AIO. Low purchase and maintenance costs are referable. A good working condition refurb will suffice. Tia

if yu already have a laser, you could also just get a simple scanner. Canon inkjets AOI (and I guess also their stand alone scanner, if they use the same software) do a good job with PDF/OCR (text searchable PDFs). I don't think Brother work just as nice, I remember my MFC-7820N uses a very primitive OCR and it produces text files, not PDFs. It's been a long time so maybe I should try again or see if they have some software updates on their web site.

EDIT: Brother will also scan PDF, but they don;t have text. For that i uses ReadIris.
