Goes to show that $200 million doesn't buy you as much these days, certainly not a championship. I want the Phillies to go down next.

$200M buys more than any one team needs if they know what they are doing. Now I just need the Phillies to lose so the "Let's see if we can buy a championship" teams are out of it.

The Tigers had the Yankees by the tail the whole game and were lucky to come out alive. Bases loaded multiple times and the Yankees played like the Cubs with RISP that's for sure.

I would like to see the Cardinals win and the Brewers deserve it they had the most consistent season.

Yep. The Tigers were lucky. For Nova, Jeter, Texeria, Granderson, and Cano to all be off at the same time is something. They were really off their normal stride the whole series.

But they still lost. Doesn't matter if they were off their stride-the Yankees had five chances to win and didn't. The Tigers showed they have it and the Yankees don't.
