Ordered my 4s, Applecare+ Too!

I just ordered my white 4s, 64gb from Apple online.

Somewhere on here (I can't find it now) someone mentioned that they believed that Applecare+ wouldn't be available for another week or so, but it was on the Apple site when I placed my order about 20 minutes ago (and I got it).

I've got a while to go with my iP4 (verizon). By then iP6 will probably be released.

In what order did you put things in your cart? Phone first, AppleCare+ second, or the other way around?

Last night I tried to just add AppleCare+ to the cart before adding the phone (because the phone ordering system was overloaded), and it would never show AppleCare+ in the cart, and my thoughts were that you might need to have the phone in there first.

After adding the phone to the cart, does it offer/suggest AppleCare+ at that time (ie. Do you want fries with that)?

I put the phone in first, then Applecare+ was available at the bottom of the page.

Yes, they suggest that you get the fries. I just ordered phones for my wife and daughter and given their record I got the Applecare. I thought about going with the SquareTrade warranty which has the same deal plus it is transferable but decided that the no muss no fuss applecare was the way to go.

YAAaay!!! Just tried again right now and it's there now. I trashed any saved items/carts on the account and started completely from scratch again with the Verizon verification thing. Went through the entire process, and after placing the iPhone 4S into the cart, right there towards the bottom of the page is the option for Applecare+ with a green "Add to Cart" button. Thanks for the heads up! I now need a time machine to travel 1 week into the future so I can recieve it now.. errr... in the future "now", but wait then there will be TWO of ME and we'll be fighting over it! Ack!

My thought exactly. I'm most excited about the camera. When we were at the Grand Canyon, I had my Canon 7d and was shooting away, when I decided to play with HD on my iPhone 3s. I got this



I know it's noisy, but I was pretty impressed. Terry (my husband) has the iPhone4 and his camera is considerably better than my 3s, so I have GREAT hopes for the camera in the 4s.

I ordered the iPhone from ATT this am and no option for AppleCare+. It's hard for me to believe that you won't be able to buy it Oct 14 and not apply it. That being said... I went to the Apple site and it will let me order ANOTHER phone (same line) at the discounted price and AppleCare+. Any reason not to order another phone? Will they just cancel one order because it is for the same line (I actually wouldn't sell it, my wife would take it, even though she is not eligible for the upgrade)?

I'm not sure about this, but I know you can't have 2 phones on the same #.

Why not just cancel the one and place an order with Apple?
