Nuking Honeycomb
#1
Okay, this is interesting.

When I put a container of crystallized honeycomb in the microwave to melt it, it started sparking like a CD or DVD does. It was not as much, but it was quite visible. I guess I have to do this the old fashioned way with hot water.

You do know they make candles out of beeswax because it burns easily, right? :boink:

Sparking indeed.

Just make some candles from it and use them OUTSIDE of the microwave next time you need a fire-works display. Big Grin

Good luck.

The other day I put a couple of those mini carrots in the microwave and they burst into flames.
