Interesting. Walmart used to have a subsidiary called "Bud's" that would open up in their old locations after they'd built a supercenter in the same town. Basically carried refurbs, working store returns and display models at heavy discounts. The Bud's stores died out by the end of the 90's... guess they're taking the basic concept online now.
I bought my first laptop, a Powerbook 145B, for around $400 at a Bud's in 1994. A $400 laptop (really any sub-$1000 laptop) in those days was basically unheard-of...

Google Walmart shootings. They aren't using cameras, either.
I have a choice where to shop, I won't ever be there. So, I will be one less person for you to run into while you are there! :patriot:
