And speaking of MP3 CDs

A friend has this deck, I think:

Want to make her a few concert CDs of a band we're going to see.

I've never used an MP3 CD that I can recall.
Is it simply a matter of popping it in and it plays like a regular CD? Or do you have to goof around with a menu like on a DVD player?

Do you mean that you want to burn a data CD instead of an audio CD?

You can do this in the finder, but you might have to manually select the next song after each one is finished.

I've got an MP3 CD player that came in my car. I make an MP3 CD by dragging the MP3 files to the CD and then burn.

Just pop the CD in the player, and it plays.

Thanks. It seems I can burn an MP3 CD very easily from an iTunes playlist.
Was just wondering what happens when you pop it in.
I think said friend may not bother with menus, so good news, thanks.

And very cool that you can put a whole 3.2 hour concert on a CD.

I do that while traveling. Walked all over London with a CD player in my coat pocket. One CD, hundreds of songs (or audiobook chapters).
And the one advantage over an iPod? I could pop into a little record store (or come across a market vendor) and buy a CD I'd never heard of. Pop it in, and I'm walking around listening to "CelticDubSka" for the first time.
