Former Vice President Dick Cheney recovering after heart transplant

Updated at 7:14 p.m. ET: Former Vice President Dick Cheney was recovering Saturday at a hospital in Falls Church, Va., after undergoing a heart transplant, his office said.
Cheney was in the Intensive Care Unit of Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, his office said in a statement.



Maybe he'll get one that works this time.


Seriously, as much as I dislike his politics, I wish him well and quick recovery.

I don't wish him any ill will but like they say it's who you know and how much money you have.
My son could have used a new heart but not enough money or insurance and he ran out of time.
