no video when using chrome but video when using safari, huh?

when i browse with google's chrome, i get no video on you tube or sites with embedded video.

when i use safari at those same links, i see the video.

what is turned off in google?

and how do i turn it back on?

Have you updated to Java 7?

That's interesting; I was having the exact opposite problem last week on a few sites. (no vid on Safari (though it would always say "loading...") but vid would come right up in Google.

I should point out that Java 7 works on 64-bit browsers like Safari and Firefox, but not Chrome (which is 32-bit on OS X)....
