We've been traveling for a while with limited telephone/wifi. Now back home I see there's an iOS 6.0.1update for the iPhone 4s. Any pros/cons on this update. What's the general consensus on doing this?
iOS 6.0.1 update - yes or no?

some say battery life is better
some say it's much worse after update, these will be gone: Maps (Google) app, Videos (YouTube) app

Annoying new feature I complain about a few threads down: the screen automatically "locks" 2 minutes into a phone call. You can't end the call without swiping to unlock the screen.

What version are you currently running? 5.x or 6.0.0? Most of the comments seem to be assuming that you're running 5.x, but if going from 6.0.0 to 6.0.1, much of what was mentioned doesn't apply, you already took that hit when you upgraded to 6.0.0.

We're still running the last version of iOS 5.

I'll prolly update sometime this weekend, if I find a good reason.
I figure it likely comes with a bunch of bug fixes.

i'm at 5.1.1 for now on my 4S.
no need to go to 6 yet; i'll wait until the whole Maps thing works better.

Seems fine. It was mostly iphone 5 fixes, so my 4s said "Meh".
