problems with iTunes account for minor

So my daughter turned thirteen today. She already had an apple id so I went to itunes and logged in as her expecting to be prompted for age information and then a link to my account. Instead it just created an itunes account and appears ready to go. I'm not sure what to do now. I have no parental controls now.

Next issue. She has both an ipod and an iPhone. Do I have to erase them and start over using her own laptop or can I somehow transfer what's on her devices into her itunes account? Thanks.

If she has been using your itunes account, you will need to transfer the songs to her account: burn and import or using TuneClone. As for the apps her account will not have any. If you want her to use the apps purchased on your account, you will have to manually download them using your itunes account on her iPhone. The apps will work but occationally ask for the password from your account. My son confirmed this with me today.
