Well I just ordered one, and the website allowed it to go through, however I have not received a confirmation email nor is there a confirmation number on the "thank you" page from the website. It just says "Once you receive your order number and confirmation via e-mail, you can check the status of your order by clicking on the Order Status option and providing your last name & order number."

But it did allow me to submit an order and it does say In Stock, so we'll see...

I can borrow the 70-200 2.8 IS whenever I need to from work, so I really don't need this lens either. I rarely need the reach. If it comes through I suppose I'll craigslist it or something.
