Cyber attack today? What?

I heard on the radio and see on the Net something about a cyber attack on small banks, FBI, Washington...etc etc. There is net news about the China Military.

There has been an ongoing electronic war waged between China and the US for several years now. China is using their tools for economic power as well as military data. Nothing new here.

Be vigilant, but be not fearful.

Not involving Christie's stomach but a real cyber attack. Found the reference. I don't know why they specify SMALL banks. Maybe large banks to hard to hank.

US accuses China government and military of cyber-spying

China's government and military have targeted US government computers as part of a cyber espionage campaign, a US report on China says.

Intrusions were focused on collecting intelligence on US diplomatic, economic and defence sectors which could benefit China's own defence programme, it says.

This is the first time the Pentagon's annual report has directly linked such attacks to the Beijing government
