Chinese and others buying US homes

I didn't know this about green cards....and I guess if you buy homes, you can rent and create jobs? Sounds like a deal. The Chinese are paying cash for the home, too. I think Brits are piling in on the buy homes caper, too.

Interesting, thanks- didn't know about it.
Signed into law by Bush 1, some significant restrictions and stipulations:

If they gain citizenship, then they are Americans, yes ?

Most countries allow 'significant investors' a way around their normal immigration nonsense. It's a good idea. It's not like they'll bring in a few $B and then suddenly become 'welfare queens'. Right ?

No doubt the Chinese Left Wing media is decrying these 'traitors' who 'leave with the money earned on the backs of Chinese citizens'.

When I saw this story a few days ago I thought .. Uh oh... cue the 'dam furriners' theme from the far right... Looks like I was right.

I believe the real attraction is an asset investment in a stable country. The Chinese and lots of others are buying major real estate in the New York area to safely park their gains in their home economies.
