I have some leftover Rain-X Latitude wiper blades from my previous car. Apparently the mount for the blades is the same as for my current car, but the wiper blade lengths are different. Can I still use these blades? (I'd guess that the wiper length being smaller wouldn't be a huge problem, but bigger wipers would be...)

If they fit and don't rub the window trim, should be fine. My Buicks take a 16", but I usually use 18s, or 19s.

Racer, oops, I guess I should have been clearer: the blades I'm thinking to use are SMALLER than the recommended size for my current vehicle. (My current vehicle being the Prius, the wipers working well is crucial, because I'm still having a problem with outside condensation on all windows.)

The Prius uses two different lengths for the left/right blade. How much smaller are these left over ones? I'd be concerned about driver visibility if you greatly shrink the large blade on the drivers side.

smaller just clears a smaller area of windshield.
might be more of a problem with snow than rain

You won't notice a problem. Use em, and just get the regular size in a few months when these wear.

I don't think PeterB will have much of a problem with snow.
He
might have a reason to drive back to Boston in January ( or the weather might get even colder down that way this Summer )
