shoe recommendation
#1
I have one pair of dress shoes that I wear on sunday to church or to special events such as the theater or concerts. They hurt like hell even with my custom orthotics installed. My wife says they are "old man shoes." So I guess it is time for a new pair of shoes.

I'd like to find something that can pass for a dress, or semi-dress, shoe. It would have to accept an orthotic. I would prefer something lighter or more breathable. I know that's a crazy list of wishes so just post your favorite shoe recommendations. My budget is up to $250. Thanks,.

Check out some Rockports. They are pretty comfy and dress up or down nicely.

BTW, my personal dress shoes are just a little tamer...

I'm going to hit that Zappos link in the morning. Time for bed. Thank you for the help.

I did find one shoe at Nordstrom (I have free nordstrom bucks there) called the 'NoPo' Moc Toe Derby that looks attractive to me. Perhaps not exactly a "dress" shoe but passable? Old man? http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/keen-nopo-mo...n=category&BaseUrl=All+Men%27s+Shoes

If the comfy sneakers just won't work, look into some Ecco's...

He'd need some bell bottoms to go with those.

Or maybe some polyester...
