What a load of bo11ocks. 'Here is a list of possible problems we don't know if you will have.' Korea started test broadcasts about 6 weeks ago. Sony had to tape Wimbledon for later replay because the BBC sat on their thumbs and couldn't be arsed to broadcast it.

Streaming will require 15mbps. Best I can do where I am at is 4mbps so I guess I will have to settle for 1080p. The horror!

Every single argument was made about regular HD as well. It'll come. Will anyone clamor for it? Maybe, maybe not, but there really weren't many people clamoring for 3D either, but how many of us have TVs with that capability now and have never used it [hand raised]?

Technology moves forward, not backwards. So eventually.

Sure - as soon as I buy a new house that was made to have a ten-foot television, there's readily available hardware that supports 4K, and content worth watching at that size that isn't "good enough" at 1080p on a five foot screen...

4K makes more sense for projectors and big screens.

I got a complete LG 3D system. Granted, there's NOT a whole lot of content in 3D but, I've watched several 3D movies that were quite well done. I regularly visit and use my public library (and, public libraries across the country when I travel). As they get 3D BluRay disks, I watch them.
