So I hurt my back again. I'm stuck in bed till Monday when I get an MRI. Or at least that's when they will schedule one. I'm guessing a few days and I'll be feeling better if not well. I'm just...bored. What did people do before the internet?
So far I watched Around the World in 80 Days (one of my favorites) and Dredd.

I used to read books. Sometimes 7 or 8 books over the course of a weekend. The firehose of useless information that is the Internet has now destroyed my powers of concentration.
Or is it just old age? I sometimes wonder how different I would have turned out if the Internet had existed in my youth.

Glad I'm not the only one!
I can get through a book now, but it certainly takes me longer, and I distract much more easily. I also find myself not picking up books as readily as I used to.

Looks like a lot of us lurk on Macresource Forums when we have
spare time on our hands.
In my job, every once in a while I wish to have 5 minutes with no
Customers to get something done or regroup my brain thoughts.
Then when I have the time, I'm bored and wonder why it's so slow.
I hope your back gets better soon, you sound like me where you need
to be doing something to be happy.
Dave

Maybe try a few 30 day trial of Netflix, if you haven't already? Binge show watching of something you've missed can be fun.
Or visit Khan Academy?
And get better, soon!

Texas walker ranger? It was referenced in the most recent episode of Revolution.
