If you download and install Newegg's mobike app (I normally don't care to do stuff like this) you can then use code MBLEMC10 to get an additional 10% off bringing it to $67.49 shipped.

Nice printer, great price...I'd hit that, if I didn't already have a full portfolio of well-functioning Brother wireless, wired, simplex, duplex, and multifunction devices.

Matt,

Actually despite my reservations about Brother printers, this particular model is one I'd consider recommending. But, I'd never recommend anyone buy it at full price. Even $75 is more than I'd recommend anyone spend on an HL-2270DW despite it actually being a very good price for it. But, if you can get it in the $50 to $60 or so range (via price matching and coupons and such), grab it. Or, grab the HL-2275DW. Same printer except the HL2275DW ships with a full toner cartridge instead of a starter toner cartridge.

I had to reset the one my parents have again over the weekend. Annoying as heck. The WIFI went wonky and a reset is the only thing that could resolve it. Easier to bring it to my place. I plugged it into an outlet on the far side of my little bedroom/office. The UPS in a different part of the room on a different outlet made the funny "NNNNNNNNNNN" noise until I turned off the laser printer. Annoying.

Z,

Amazon has it for $85 or so. A local staples or officemax may be willing to price match it.

I have the 2280 DW which is basically 2270 with a scanner on top (just scanner, no auto document feeder). WiFi has been rock solid for a year, I use an Apple Router downstairs and printer is upstairs, and I use WPA2 encryption. I don't know if 2270 has a different WiFi circuit or what but something doesn't seem right. Oh, I also have a Canon and again no WiFi problem with either one. Maybe I am just lucky...
