My sister-in-law has a brother out in the Phillipines. She has just heard that he and his Phillipine wife are safe as they happened to be in Manilla when it happened, he has been co-ordinating the welfare of the UK expats after the recent earthquake and was talking to the UK officials in the capital. His business and house are still standing but with a few more cracks but there will be no business for a while as he is in the tourist trade. His wife's family live(d) in one of the devastated areas and they fear the worst.

Paul
Paul, DinerDave and everyone else thanks for your efforts and prayers.
Paul I hope your sister-in-laws Brother and Family are ok.
Please keep us informed also. Let me know if I can help with finding some
information.

This morning 6:30 a.m. Asian Pacific Time, Bando, Nerrisa's Husband has just arrived in Cebu.

He will be flying by around 8:00 a.m. from Cebu to Tacloban and then going directly to San Jose Barangay, Tacloban to look for Nerissa and Musashi. Hopefully we will have some positive news in a few hours.
I will update the sticky asap.

Black, thanks for your kind words directed to all those who have been affected by this devastating catastrophe

We are very anxious as now some sites are posting lists/names of survivors that
have checked in with some news agencies and or Government official sites.

Nerissa's name is not on the 2 lists I saw this morning but these lists
only accounted for maybe 300 people at this time

My stomach is already rocking out and I have not had any coffee yet just tea.

Thank you very much Gratful11.
My eyes are watering and my throat is painful from holding back and
trying to hold on to a small ray of hope.

The photos are brutal
