aggressive driver video
#1
I managed to catch 3 clips of that aggressive driver. To be honest, I have seen her driving even faster through the stop signs, tailgating, passing in the intersection. if one car is stopped at the STOP sign and blinker RIGHT, this driver passed and turns LEFT, both ways merge later. It happens that in these three days I was willing to go out and make the movie I did not capture any such events.

What do you think, should I send my local Police Department the link to youtube video? There is a school bus stop right there and kids show show up for bus just when this happens.

I really don't know is this something that is NOT my business or if I should report it. I am afraid that she might hurt some kid if this continues.

do you know approximately what time she comes around? would make it much easier for the officers.

I definitely think you should speak up. she's doing something illegal and dangerous.

how to get things fixed will depend upon local politics. here in nyc you're much better off asking a local representative to contact the police.

i guess i'm saying that if the police don't respond try another route.

1) That's not aggressive driving, that's failing to stop at a stop sign.
2) Unless you film the video so as to be able to read the license plate of the car as it runs the stop sign, your video proves nothing other than a person in a silver Toyota runs stop signs.

as i explained, I did not catch any of those moments like tailgating and passing in intersection while another car was stopping

This is not intended to be evidence in court. I let's the police officers catch this drivers. If the police officer wanted to enforce the traffic laws, the fact that the license plate is not clearly visible in the video should not make a difference I guess

I agree with N-OS X-tasy - unfortunately how you have the license plates cut in to the film doesn't necessarily connect one to the other, however the video does highlight the problem and should be sufficient in and of itself.
