eBay question
#1
I haven't sold on eBay in ages. I listed some of my old phones tonight.
Auction closes on Nov 23. I set handling time to 3 days.
The listing shows an estimated delivery date between Nov 21 and Nov 23.
Not sure how something I specified could cause this, and not overly concerned that it's going to result in any problems, but thought I'd ask.

It might, depending on the person who wins the auction. Make sure you add that information to your auction.

Well, I added a little note about it to the listing.

The eBay listing interpreter is often rather stupid. If you are using a browser that is not cutting-edge, this can be doubly so. For example, date estimates that used to display fine for me in Safari 4.x no longer do so after their latest website upgrades.

This estimate is probably based on an assumed purchase date of "today" even though the actual closing will be much later. You can check this by adding handling time plus transit time to today's date.

How else to explain a projection of delivery of two days BEFORE the listing closes. Time machine?

If you have a Buy-It-Now option set, that could explain it. If not, don't know.
