Would you implant something like Google Glass on your baby to try and keep it safe?

I saw Extreme Baby Monitoring* on Slashdot and thought that if a computer could track a baby and use metadata from a HUD, it might give parents 30 seconds of warning before a child started doing something like munching on a Tide detergent pod or climbing over a gate. Are kids too fast for this?

I'm confused by the question.

Google glass would be "implanted" in/on a baby?

So, it could post pics to Facebook by blinking?

I guess that might be cool.

That would be an admission that you can't manage children. No kids for you!

Useless . The little nipper would hack any implanted technology and use it to take over the world.

I have no problem with using technology to keep little kids healthier and safer, whether it's a car seat or a sleep monitor or a vaccine.

Perfectly stated.

Technology is not the answer to everything.
