20 degrees here. Getting ready to go run the Turkey Trot.

Looking forward to sitting on the couch the rest of the day bathed in the smells of Thanksgiving dinner!

Happy Thanksgiving and Hanukkah!

The in-laws are having their dinner tomorrow for some reason(and no, that is not a holiday at our workplaces), so we are blissfully on our own tonight. Hubby is working today as well. I made red pepper pasta dough, then spinach-artichoke-ricotta filling, and churned out about 4 dozen ravioli. Mocha molten cookies are coming up, too. Nice bottle of white is chilling. Tomorrow's dinner will be super traditional, so why make tonight's "normal"?

19º here in Pontiac and it's snowing.
But I see it's 23º in Atlanta, GA. Just heard it's the coldest morning there since 1911. Yes, 1911.
Adding my Thanksgiving and Hanukkah wishes here too after I missed this thread earlier!

30ºF here
10,5 kg Turkey in the oven, stuffed, trussed and herbed.

almond ricotta cheesecake wire rack cooling on the porch
couldn't find amaretti cookies so it was dusted with finely chopped almonds instead
orange zest and Disaronno Amaretto soaked gold raisins. ( soaked overnite as the ricotta pressed in the fridge, should be a nice taste treat. :-) )

31ºF winds gusting to 28mph here in NYC.
The hazard for the parade balloons (stepping off now) is that gusts are channeled around the buildings and down the canyons.
