Can anybody recommend a quick-rinsing shower soap?
#1
I usually by whatever Costco has on sale- Irish Spring or Lever 2000.

But they take forever to rinse off. If I'm running late and grab a quick shower, I feel like 90% of the time is spend rinsing off.

Something that rinses clean and quick would save me time and water.

What are your favorites?

I'm a fan of the Neutrogena body wash they sell at Costco. A little goes a long way!

Sounds like your water is too hard.

Regular plain Ivory soap.

Ivory, bar or liquid, is good.

It might leave your skin a little more dried out than some because its not loaded with lotiony/oily stuff, but that's also what makes it feel clean and rinse quick.

Plus, it's fun!

Dollar store shower gel...
And yes, it does sound like your water may the bigger culprit than the soap.

Yeah. Plain ol' Ivory soap rinses quick because it doesn't have all the lotiony moisturizer stuff.

More than likely your water is soft rather than too hard. Test it by putting your softener in vacation mode for a week, then adjust the number of days you soften. Get a handheld shower head for closer rinsing. Ivory doesn't have all the perfumes, etc. but really won't rinse off any faster. You want your soap to act slippery (surfactant) to float body oils and dirt away. If you really want to solve your problem, run a bypass around your softener to the cold water tap on your shower.
