I am keeping my fingers crossed! My son plays contrabassoon in the University of Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra. Tonight, the concert is supposed to stream at 8:00 PM CDT. A couple of weeks ago I unsuccessfully attempted to stream the concert. With the help of forum members we did determine it was a problem at the OU side of the stream. Here is a link to the previous thread. Wish me luck!

Classical music and pauses for buffering.....not my favorite combination.
Can't find a program anywhere... appears to be all concerto competition winners.

I am very pleased! OU Tech has the stream working! Yes, the resolution is low, but I am just so happy that the stream is working!

I haven't seen my son yet, but he indicated he will have a brief solo in the fifth (or sixth-I can't recall for sure) song! A rather long intermission...

I really enjoyed the concert! It appears that my son did only play on the final song, "Black Dog". We did see him from a distance and briefly a close up, but it was great to see and hear him. He has only played contrabassoon since October. He is a music performance major (bassoon) and does also play with the OU Symphony Band. After the contrabassoonist transferred to another college my son was recruited by the bassoon professor to play contrabassoon in the OU Symphony Orchestra. He has done well and has received compliments from both his bassoon professor and the director of the orchestra too. I am proud of him!
Thanks to all the forum members who offered help and expressed interest as I attempted to stream my son's concert!
