I've experienced Israeli spying first hand, catching an 'engineer' from the Israeli government trying to hack into engineering document storage and database storage in the late 1980's. He was booted. A year later an Israeli company used the stolen designs to win a US contract for missile tracking systems. It took a half a year to get them thrown out, even through their proposed product was an exact copy of ours.
