iMac typing gibberish, screenshot

I tried to use my iMac this morning and all I get is gibberish when I type. It is consistent between all programs. I googled but did not find an answer. Here is a screenshot from iTunes. Any ideas?

Check character viewer or keyboard viewer to be sure your character set did not somehow change?

Have you tried Google Translate to see if it can translate from Gibber into English?
