A request. A 15" MacBook Air...

...with a detachable keyboard that allows it to be an iPad too (the best of both OS'.

That's all the tech I truly want in this world. I believe the only reason I'm not using this is because there is no third party Mac Os vendor who would rock this. I resent that Microsoft has the Surface Pro, cuz I'm not using that.

I figure that if I put this out in the Universe, that it will soon appear. Let me hashtag #apple (as if that'll help or be effective).

That form factor is called the Surface.

I doubt Apple would adopt anything from MS.

As for the thread title, there IS a 15" MBA. It's called a MBPR. Do not confuse the 'P' for 'Pro'. Apple removed far too many features to make that a Pro machine. I can say that with certainty as it's my main machine, and it was a replacement for a true Pro laptoip.

I've seen it at the store. I guess it can't get much lighter. I have my desktops so a few less features won't hurt. I still want a detachable keyboard and a touchscreen.

The problem with "best of both worlds" is that you are also combining "the worst of both worlds."

Design paradox.

No. I found him on the net. But he reminded me of my boy Kiddy.
