LG announces their G₃ phone.

Some interesting features, notably a 5.5" 2555x1440 display. And a Content Lock feature so you perverts can loan your phone to somebody to make a call and not have your dirty little secrets revealed.

But a "Knock Code"? Taps, I assume.

Way too big for a phone for me, but apparently there are some headphones available, similar to the Tone 700s I use with my 'Phone.

If you need/want big-screen portable device with phone capability, this might be worth a look.

I think that's a pretty fair assessment by Silvarios; it's one of the features that Apple touted so vociferously just a couple of years ago, with good reason.

Seriously, the headline seemed to be an intentional play on Apple release Tuesday. Isn't Apple rumored to be releasing a larger screen iPhone? Doesn't Apple strictly compete with these sorts of high end smart phones? Isn't Apple one of the biggest proponents of high res displays? Are any of these things inherently negative?
